How Mantisize works
Paste your website's address. We show you, in plain words, what to fix so Google and AI tools such as ChatGPT can understand your page. Then we write the fixes for you.
Audit my websiteNo technical knowledge needed
Three steps, no jargon
-
Paste your link
We read your page the way Google does, and an AI works out what your business does. You correct anything we got wrong.
-
See what to fix
You get three scores and the three changes most likely to help, each with a first step and who can make it.
-
Get the words written
Answer a few quick questions and we draft new wording for you to check and publish. Anything technical comes as a brief for your developer.
What you'll see
Your results start with three scores out of 100 and a short to-do list. Each item says what to do, why it matters and whether you or your developer can do it.
The scores show how your page is set up. They are not your position on Google.
Three things to fix this week
- Improve the page titleYou
- Open each section with a direct answerYou
- Make the page fit phone screensYour developer
Why it's different
- Plain words, not jargon
- Every result is written for people who run a business, not for developers. A "?" explains any technical word.
- Fixes written for you
- We don't just list problems. We draft the new wording, and write a brief you can send to your developer.
- Ready for AI tools too
- We check whether tools such as ChatGPT can read and quote your page, and can test whether they mention you when customers ask.
- What we can't promise
- Rankings also depend on your reputation, your competitors and links from other sites. We check how your page is set up, and can't promise a position on Google or a mention by AI.
What do I get?
- Three scores: how well the page is set up for Google and for AI tools, plus the health of your site.
- Three things to fix this week: the changes most likely to help, with a first step and who can make them.
- A test of what AI says: your customers' questions put to an AI tool, without mentioning you, to see whether you come up.
- Drafts written for you: a short interview, then new wording for you to review.
- A brief for your developer: ready to copy, with the technical details they need.
- Competitor comparison and a site plan: where a rival beats you, plus suggested search phrases and pages.
- Deep reviews: your site speed, image quality, grammar and writing, and how well the page holds readers.
- Competitor Check: check up to 5 websites at once and compare them, with results saved in your browser or account.
- A re-check: confirm your changes worked once they're live.

What happens when I enter my website?
We fetch the page you entered the way a search engine would, along with a few public files such as its sitemap, and run more than 50 checks. An AI then reads the page to summarise your business, and you correct anything it got wrong. That summary shapes everything that follows.
What do the checks look at?
For search engines, we look at whether the page can be found and indexed, and at its title, description, headings, content, images, links, mobile setup, speed and structured data. For AI tools, we look at whether they're allowed to read the page, whether they can read it without running code, and whether it makes clear who you are, shows authors and dates, and offers specific, quotable facts. For site health, we look at trust and legal basics, broken links, speed, accessibility and security.
These checks are based on Google's published guidance, AI crawler documentation and published research on generative engine optimisation. There's no official standard for AI visibility yet, so treat those checks as good practice rather than guarantees.
What can't Mantisize tell me?
- Your real position on Google. Google Search Console shows your actual search performance.
- Your reputation, or the links to your site from others, which both matter for rankings.
- What every AI tool says. Our test asks a small sample of questions, and the answers change each time.
- Anything about the rest of your site, unless you check those pages too. Each check covers the one page you enter.
How do you keep the AI honest?
The AI is told to use only facts from your site and your answers, and to leave a marked gap when it doesn't know something. Ordinary code, not the AI, then counts whether answers named you, warns about numbers it can't find in your sources, and removes drafts for headings that aren't on your page. These checks catch a lot, but not everything, so please review every draft before you publish it.
