These terms apply when you use Mantisize, which is operated by [legal company name], [registered address] ("we" or "us"). By using Mantisize, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What is Mantisize?
Mantisize checks how public web pages are set up for search engines and AI tools, explains the results and uses AI to draft suggestions. We may change, limit or stop any part of it at any time. Mantisize is currently free, and usage limits apply.
What can't I rely on?
- Scores and results are guidance. They show how one page is set up at one moment, and aren't a measure or prediction of your rankings, traffic, sales or appearance in AI answers.
- We don't guarantee results. Search engines and AI tools make their own decisions, which we don't control.
- AI can be wrong. Drafts, plans, chat answers and test commentary may be inaccurate or incomplete, and AI test results are a small sample from one tool.
- This isn't professional advice. Mantisize doesn't provide legal, financial or other regulated advice.
What am I responsible for?
- Reviewing anything Mantisize suggests before you use it, and making sure it's accurate, lawful and doesn't mislead your customers.
- Any changes you or your developer make to your website, including backing it up first.
- Having the right to share anything you upload or enter, including any personal information in it.
What about my account?
Accounts are optional. Keep your password private, as you're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
What am I not allowed to do?
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Attack, overload or try to get around the security or limits of Mantisize or of any website.
- Use Mantisize to reach pages or systems you aren't allowed to access.
- Automatically extract data from Mantisize, resell it, or use it as a general-purpose AI service.
- Use its output to create spam or deliberately misleading content.
- Upload harmful software or material you have no right to share.
Who owns what?
You keep your rights in your content. You allow us to process it as needed to provide Mantisize, as described in our Privacy Policy. As far as we're able to, we give you the rights to use the drafts and reports Mantisize creates for you. Similar suggestions may be given to other people, and we can't promise that any output is free from third-party rights. We own Mantisize itself, including its design, software and name.
What about other companies' services?
Mantisize relies on third parties, including AI providers and the websites it reads, and links to other sites. We aren't responsible for their content or services. Mantisize isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Google, OpenAI, Anthropic or Perplexity.
Is there a warranty?
Mantisize is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
What is your liability?
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, rankings, traffic, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Mantisize is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that can't legally be limited.
Can you stop me using Mantisize?
Yes. We may restrict or end your access if you break these terms or if it's needed to protect Mantisize or others.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the laws of [country or state whose laws apply], and its courts will hear any disputes, except where the law where you live gives you rights that can't be changed by agreement.
Will these terms change?
We may update them as Mantisize changes. We'll post the new version here and change the date at the top. By continuing to use Mantisize after that, you accept the new terms.
